The Top 20 A' Design Award Winners

The 2020 A’ Design Award.

As the world’s largest international juried competition for design, the competition is open to individuals and companies. And, with over 100 categories in which to submit your work, every creative discipline is covered. What’s more, the entry period is still open, meaning this could be the year you become a part of this distinguished collective.

To date, over 180 nationalities have taken part on the competition, the A’ Design Award’s World Design Rankings highlighting countries according to the number of designers that have historically won. Simply put, by entering the competition, you could directly influence the status and repute of your home country. With 14,566 Award Winners, the possibility of you joining the elite is high.

Winners receive an extensive kit which includes (but is not limited to) a 3D Printed Metal A’ Design Award trophy; an annual yearbook; free participation and space allocation in the winners’ exhibition in Italy; tickets for two to the prestigious gala-night; publicity and visibility through DesignMedia communications; and access to a jury of some 211 members made up of design professionals, press members and academics.

To encourage the wonderful designers out there to enter this year’s competition, whilst celebrating the winners throughout the years, we take a look at some of our very favourite work from A’ Design Award winners through the years. From the realms of architecture, art, interior design, fashion, lighting, graphic design, visual communication, textiles, installations and more.

Don’t delay. Register your work today at competition.adesignaward.com, and keep your goggles focussed on these pages next April as we announce the 2021—2022 edition winners. It could very well be you.
