The National Association of Students of Architecture, commonly referred to as NASA India, is one of the largest Architectural Student Organizations in the world with student participants from more than two hundred Institutions all over India and countries around the world. NASA India provides a platform for architecture students to learn & interact, engaging them directly and indirectly through both online & offline platforms. NASA India conducts events, conventions, seminars, workshops, design competitions and trophies at both national and zonal levels.
The 59th Annual NASA Convention will be hosted by SPA, PU from 15th to 20th January 2017, within the premises, thereby witnessing students, architects & professionals from the fraternity.
Parallel Projections, the theme of 59th Annual NASA Convention, will merely play the gateway to the inventory of the parts of one’s envisionment getting lost along the process of it being implemented. The convention will be a prodigious event inviting Architecture Schools from our Nation & beyond to participate, adding to its charisma. A Parallel Projection has a unique capacity of levelling the human eye and its perspective. It levels all indentations to a singular surface, to the extent that it denies the perception of actual form/ space/ reality. It corresponds to a projection with infinite focal length. Propositions are bound to be altered as one tries to frame them into reality, causing the idea lose part of its sheen, making it go unnoticed thereby making its projection mandatory.
